WLS’ blog predicted that the United States Supreme Court's holding in Bostock v. Clayton County, Georgia would make discrimination based upon sexual orientation or gender identity illegal under the Fair Housing Act. On February 11, 2021, WLS' prediction proved accurate when the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development issued a memorandum interpreting the Fair Housing Act as prohibiting discrimination against LGBTQ individuals.
